Regrow Puerto Rico

Agriculture in Puerto Rico needs urgent help due to the passage of Hurricane Maria, the most devastating in our modern history. After several meetings and interviews, we found that the fastest way to help our farmers is with financial help. At this critical moment they need the economic stability they had from sales in farmers' markets. If they start planting at least a month from now, it will take them at least three months to harvest and re-sell their harvest.

How will we achieve our goal?

We will distribute $ 1,500 for 3 consecutive months to 100 agroecological farmers and artisan food producers that will be distributed through the agricultural markets in which they participate.

We are collaborating with all the coordinators of the following farmers' markets.

  1. Cooperativa Orgánica Madre Tierra
  2. Mercado Agrícola Natural Viejo San Juan
  3. Ponce Natural Agricultural Market
  4. Aguadilla Farmers Market
  5. Agroecological Market of Rincón

Be part of the future with sustainable farming.

Let's Regrow Puerto Rico.
