Regrow Puerto Rico Phase 1

Agriculture in Puerto Rico needs urgent help due to the passage of Hurricane Maria, the most devastating in our modern history. After several meetings and interviews, we found that the fastest way to help our farmers is with financial help. At this critical moment they need the economic stability they had from sales in farmers' markets. If they start planting at least a month from now, it will take them at least three months to harvest and re-sell their harvest.

In the month of November, the first 42 checks were handed out. Our farmers and artisanal producers are starting to feel the difference thanks to your help. We are glad we are able to start Phase 1 for our first 100 farmers and artisanal producers. We are collaborating with all the coordinators of the following farmers' markets. Cooperativa Orgánica Madre Tierra Mercado Agrícola Natural Viejo San Juan Ponce Natural Agricultural Market Aguadilla Farmers Market Agroecological Market of Rincón.
